Van Steel is the founder of the slagRebel, a product used to clear out buildup in cutting torches. We started working with him on his startup in the summer of 2016 on a site to help him sell and distribute his product online. Jenniffer Campbell from Chatterbox Promotions assisted with content copywriting and 3rdDrive out of Austin Texas shot the video seen on his homepage.
Working all over the world, Van Steel has seen a similar sight at fabrication facilities and construction sites: drums and buckets filled with oxyfuel and plasma cutting tips that have been thrown away because it was easier to do that than clean out the blowback slag. He has developed a tool to make that job easier.
